Government has been urged to provide more funds towards the health provision.

SAFAids senior programmes officer Lloyd Dembure told Hevoi FM news that:
“Government must provide more funds towards health care in its annual budget.Funds must be allocated towards fighting HIV and AIDS, Malaria, Tuberculosis, Cancer and COVID-19.That is why we are having a workshop in Masvingo with the civic society to deliberate on that.”
SAFAids today begun a three day workshop on a programme meant to capacitate, strengthening, training of civic society organisations on budget advocacy.The Abuja declaration signed by Afican countries in 2001, advocate that member states allocate at least 15 percent of their annual budgets towards health care provision.
