According to a memo in possession of Hevoi FM news sport ,all provincial directors for the sport have been requested to select four athletes who would take part in the national tournament where national team players will be selected to represent the country at a Dubai tourney.
Read the memo:
As we draw closer to the WKF Senior World Championships scheduled for Dubai in November, we are intensifying our preperations.
Due to the prolonged inactivity, our selectors for the National Team are unable to use recent performances in tournaments to select a Squad.
We have therefore resolved to request the Provincial Chairpersons and Technical Directors to submit names of two male athletes and two female athletes from each province to the National Technical Director so that we come up with the Squad.
We shall rely on your fairness and integrity for this exercise as you know which athletes are training individually in your provinces. Please take note that this is for the World Championships, if you do not have athletes that match reasonable standards, it’s okay not to submit.
Please may you work with all your Style heads in your provinces as you do this exercise.
We would appreciate if the names can be forwarded to the TD by the 17th of August.
We have engaged the SRC to bw allowed to prepare for the Dubai Championships.”

“We have selected Mason Zinyanduko, Trust Mlambo, Chipo Chavhuna and Monica Victor to represent the province,”said Gombwe.
