Villagers in Boroma area lament the poor state of roads.BY SAMUEL NJINGA

Villagers under Chief Mugabe area have raised concern over the poor state of the road linking Boroma and Munzviru villages that was left in a poor state following heavy rains.
Councilor in the area, Trust Mugabe told Hevoi FM News that villagers are failing to travel due to poor state of the road.

“Two bridges along this road have been eroded away by the heavy rains that fell in the area early this year. Villagers need utmost help. They cannot access Barahanga townships. Getting into town for business by bus is now a thing of the past. Travelling is now a punishment. We pray that those in authority address our plight.” said Mugabe.
The Munzviru-Boroma road is pertinent as it links the rural folks with the Renco- Masvingo highway as well as the Masvingo-Topora highway. Farmers often need transport their agricultural produce from this area into town each time they pursue new avenues in terms of marketing their commodities. Compounded by economic strains, this has become very difficult to achieve.
