Youths urged to desist from violence as by elections beckon .BY REGIS CHINGAWO

The Community Tolerance, Reconciliation and Development (COTRAD) has started an awareness programme, educating the youths to desist from violence.
COTRAD programmes manager, Zivanai Muzorodzi says youths must not be used by politicians to engage in violence.
“We are calling on youths to desist from all forms of political violence. What they must do is to mobilize each other to register to vote,”said Muzorodzi.
Muzorodzi says COTRAD is currently embarking on some peace sports tournaments in the province to spread the gospel of peace.
“We are current holding some peace sports tournaments in Masvingo where we bring youths together, educating them on the need to desist from political violence. The peace sports tournament are having a desired positive result,”said Muzorodzi.
The country on 26 March will be holding by elections and harmonized elections next year.
