Parents who spoke to Hevoi FM news said that they wished for schools to open as children where now misbehaving and some even getting pregnant.
“The closure of schools has become a serious burden for us as parents, because children have become notorious, they no longer listen to their elders, schools should open,” a Mucheke resident said.
“If one looks at it right now there are almost two if not three lockdowns in a row and the schools still closed, do you expect anything better from that , our children are getting pregnant because of not doing anything, they are just sitted at home, we urge for schools to re-open,” Another resident told Hevoi FM news on anonymity.
” Our children are slowly changing the way we expect them to be, the situation is slowly getting out of hand,” said another parent.
