Residents of ZIMRE Park suburb in Masvingo are calling on authorities to bring in ZUPCO kombis as they are facing transport blues.
Residents told Hevoi FM News that they are being forced to either walk into town or board expensive zvipipipis a term coined to illegal transport operators.
“We are calling on ZUPCO authorities to bring into our area, at least two ZUPCO kombis as we are facing transport blues.Some of us are having to walk all the way into town during this rainy season,”said the residents.
“We are calling on authorities to bring in at least two ZUPCO buses as that will go a long way in ending our transport woes.We are being forced to board zvipipipi that at times charge us a dollar to get into town,”added the residents.
ZIMRE park suburb is one of the modern residential areas in Masvingo.
